Today 20/11/15  I went to the hives in Liverpool 19 to give them some fondant, I would usually do this in December, however the mild autumn we have had, has meant the bees have been out foraging, with very little or no nectar left, meant that the bees came back with less, therefore consuming more of their reserves.

There are 14 hives in the liverpool 19 area, all but 2 were heaving with bees, still good amount of stores (reserves)  even though i still gave them at least a kilo of fondant, tomorrow will be doing the same for the childwall, Knowsley, Fazkerley apairies
